US: Citrus industry takes $3.5 million hit from Sandy sales drop

Despite Florida's escaping damage from Hurricane Sandy, the citrus industry took a $3.5 million hit, due to lost sales in the storm's aftermath.

Nine of fifteen US markets showing big drops in orange juice sales lay in the path of Sandy - including New York, Philadelphia, Washington and Boston.
