US: C. H. Robinson acquires Phoenix International

C.H. Robinson Worldwide, Inc. has announced that it has finalized its acquisition of privately-hled Phoenix International, Inc. for $571.5 million in cash and about $63.5 million in newly-issued C.H. Robinson common stock.

The deal, originally announced in September, is part of the C.H. Robinson's efforts to expand its international freight forwarding business.
