The Greenery has in cooperation with Kwekerij 't Woudt introduced a new label: GoldenRed. "Each bunch of this pack is selected in the greenhouse. Only the very long straight bunches with each fruit deep red of colour are taken at harvest time. The product tastes striking because of the very high brix value and aroma," grower Paul van Koppen explains.
"By means of our years of experience in growing the variety we can, because of our continuous and consistent way of cultivation, offer the same high quality all year round," Paul says.
"GoldenRed tomatoes are very suitable for use in salads, but also especially as a healthy and tasty snack. The sweet taste appeals to both children and adult connoisseurs. GoldenRed is also very suitable as a garnish, a whole small vine in a dish has a colourful and decorative effect."
"With the recently introduced packing of 1.5 kg boxes and small crates with 1.3 kg contents we give the product a 'de luxe' presentation, which belongs to this top label," said Paul.
“We also have a 'de luxe' firm dish/lid packing of 200 gr. of which four small packs fit into a GoldenRed box."
GoldenRed tomatoes are grown exclusively by Kwekerij 't Woudt and packed in the Westland.
