Citrus Australia appoints inaugural regional committee in the Riverina 21 June 2012

Citrus Australia today announced its first regional advisory committee in the Riverina.

Tania Chapman, Citrus Australia Chair, said that this appointment marked a historical turning point in the industry’s representative structure.

"I would like to thank Joe Pasin President Griffith and District Citrus Growers and Graham Minchin President Leeton Citrus Growers in assisting with the selection. It was a very difficult decision due to the many quality nominations we received."

The seven skills based members - bringing skills ranging from citrus production, packing, marketing, juice and research - are:

John Davidson
Ron Hutton
Ken McDougall
Dean Morris
Joe Nardi
John Quarisa
John Sergi

"We will work towards the first meeting in July and I look forward to the skills and passion these members can bring to the industry," said Tania.
