Thailand: China is growing market for exotic fruit exports
The food trade with China has seen Thailand posting a cash surplus for years - in 2011 this reached a value of $130 million US.
Export this year is expected to reach a total value of $2.1 billion US, which would represent a growth, year on year, of 14.3%.
Amongst the foods that Thailand is increasingly exporting to China are a range of tropical fruits.
