US: Company gets a nutty new name

The Newark Nut Company was founded in 1929 by Poppy Sol to sell nuts and dried fruits. Times have changed since then and the company has been very good at keeping up with progress. They launched their on-line shop, nutsomline.com, back in 1999 to much success. Now the Head of the company, Jeffrey Braverman, grandson of Poppy Sol, is announcing a change of the name to Nuts.com.

Jeffrey says the name is easier for consumers to remember and to type. The logo will also be changing in time, to reflect the new name.

Jeffrey was keen to point out to consumers that only the name was changing and the quality of the produce and the standards of customer service would remain very high.
