This assures for 2012 a high quality standard in higher volume, sold exclusively by the Group company Salvatore Moncada Srl and mainly used for big retail branded product. The company is a member of the Association "Il Pomodoro Italiano" and of the Consortium of Pachino Tomato PGI.
Ortomoncada.
It is not the only novelty for Moncada Group. It faces 2012 with the founding of the controlled company Moncada Frutta, which is born from the need to separate, at an organizational level, the activity of marketing of fruits and vegetables and the activity of vegetable production and processing of Salvatore Moncada Srl for national big retail.

Moncada Frutta Srl is a new company destined exclusively to the existing marketing of fruit (pineapple, bananas, off-season exotics and seasonal Italian fruit), mainly for distribution in Sicily.
Believing in this project, the Ispica-based warehouse was renovated, spaces were enlarged and new cells for storage and ripening of bananas were created.

The management and organization of the company are unchanged. Company branches are so organized:
- Ortomoncada: vegetable production in protected cultivation;
- Salvatore Moncada Srl: vegetable processing and distribution for national big retail;
- Moncada Frutta Srl: Italian and international fruit sale and distribution for wholesalers and Sicilian big retail.
