A 56-hectare orchard operated by Meridian Tempo LLC in the Parkent district, Tashkent region, stands as a model for modern, export-oriented horticulture in Uzbekistan. The project uses advanced technologies and targets both export and domestic markets, with a clear focus on productivity and sustainability.
The orchard includes 32 hectares of cherries, 10 hectares each of apples and pears, and 4 hectares of raspberries. All trees are self-pollinating, enabling 100% yield potential. Drip irrigation is fully solar-powered, and water is delivered through gravity-fed systems from a reservoir, reducing energy costs and increasing efficiency.
All seedlings were imported from France. Cherries are exported in full, while apples and raspberries are sold domestically to support import substitution.
The company plans to expand with an additional 500-hectare orchard soon. An experimental section is already operating on-site to test foreign varieties in local climate conditions, turning the orchard into a research hub for horticultural innovation.
