Iran exports 122,000 tons of potatoes to Turkmenistan

Approximately 122,000 tons of potatoes have been exported to Turkmenistan during the first nine months of the current Iranian calendar year (to end on March 20, 2022). Managing director of Lotfabad customs in Dargaz, Mohammad Ali Bagheri, said that there was no rejected cargo from Turkmenistan. He added that apples, tangerines, oranges, and bell peppers were among other products exported to that nation. Last month after a two-year halt due to coronavirus outbreak, Iran's first shipment was exported to Turkmenistan through Dargaz railway.
