From November to March, consumers and gastronomy lovers will be able to enjoy the black truffle again. This season, they will be able to purchase them from the comfort of their home. Spanish households and restaurants will be able to buy these precious mushrooms online as different companies, such as Trufasa, will be selling them through their e-commerce services.
Trufasa's experts in truffle farming collect black truffles in the Vistabella del Maestrazgo area, an ideal land for its cultivation. The high-altitude Mediterranean climate provides abundant rainfall and low temperatures, and its proximity to the sea gives it high levels of humidity. The company's truffle cultivation and collection is 100% natural, complying with the sustainability standards of the European Union.
"Trufasa was born in a family environment, with enthusiasm and dedication. The love and affection with which we select and collect our black truffles allow us to obtain a product of excellent quality," stated Sara Guillamon, collector and director of Trufasa.
The company also guarantees refrigerated shipments of black truffle thanks to the maintenance of the cold chain in isothermal packaging and 24 to 48-hour shipments.
