Mango harvest update from the National Mango Board

According to the Mango Harvest Report from the National Mango Board (NMB), updated September 17, 2021, the mango volume shipped in the week ending on September 11 amounted to approximately 2,975,767 boxes (2% higher than the previous week's shipment of 2,919,974 boxes).

Mexican harvest Information for 11/09/2021
The volume shipped from Mexico amounted to approximately 1,907,527 boxes, bringing the season's total to 75,945,991 boxes. This week's volume is 6% lower than the volume shipped the previous week.

During the same week last year, the volume shipped from Mexico stood at approximately 1,788,886 boxes, which brought the total to 76,448,153 boxes.

The EMEX mango season ended on September 4, 2021 with a total volume of approximately 58.5 million boxes (4 kg).

Haiti harvest Information for 11/09/2021
Volume shipped from Haiti was not reported.

During the same week last year, the volume shipped from Haiti reached approximately 756 boxes, bringing the total to 2,574,057 boxes.

Harvest information from Brazil for 09/11/2021
The volume shipped from Brazil reached approximately 1,062,368 boxes, bringing the season's total to 3,984,596 boxes. This week's volume is 20% higher than the one shipped in the previous week.

During the same week last year, the volume shipped from Brazil amounted to approximately 771,109 boxes, bringing the total to 2,227,332 boxes.

Harvest information from Ecuador for 09/11/2021
The volume shipped from Ecuador reached approximately 5,872 boxes.

During the same week last year, the volume shipped from Ecuador was not available.

Future volumes
The mango volumes to be shipped in the period from week 37 (09/18/2021) through week 44 (11/06/2021) are estimated to be 6% lower compared to last year, with arrivals expected from week 38 through week 45.
