The fruit exported from Thailand to China in the first 4 months of this year was worth 668 million USD, which is a growth of 152.7% in comparison with the same period last year. Not only does Thailand benefit from this growth in tourism, but Chinese tourists become more familiar with Thai fruit, which in turn encourages export of fruit from Thailand to China. Chinese tourists particularly enjoy durian, mangosteen, and longan. China is already the most important export market for Thai durian and mangosteen.
