Biosanica starts to produce organic dried fruit

Biosanica, a producer of organic dried fruit, has officially started the production in German Vorpommern last Monday, as announced on the German website Proplanta.de. On an area of about 22,000 square meter piece of land a production hall with coldstore, de-stoning machine and drying installation were erected. All this has cost about 3,8 million Euro, of which 1.5 million Euro was subsidized.

The company Biosanica Manufaktur GmbH employs 15 people and plans to process up to 5,000 tons of organic apples into dried apple chips, apple pieces and apple French fries annually.
