The production has gone according to plan, with ideal weather conditions. Sustainability and food safety are priorities in the production process and transport. The Pakistani mango has the guaranteed quality of the aeroplane mango. They are nice and sweet due to their high brix level, soft flesh and have a nice orange inside. They are also juicy and have a very tasty, distinct and perfumed flavour. The price level of this mango cannot be compared to for instance the African of Brazilian mango. It's exclusive to this kind of premium mango."

Due to the Ramadan, this new variety is a welcome addition to the sweet fruit. According to Lieve Michielsen the demand for Pakistani mangos is very high in the UK in particular. "In the season, which runs until the end of August, they are closer to a mainstream product than a niche product. Our ambition is to introduce the rest of Europe to this real delicacy. We mainly supply the Pakistani mango under our own brand Best Choice. The original packaging is 1.5 kg, 3.5 or 4 kilos, but a diverse small packaging is also available on demand."
