From January to October 2025, trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Russia reached US$4.1523 billion, according to data from the State Customs Committee. The figure is 5.3 per cent, or US$209.9 million, higher than the same period in 2024.
Azerbaijan's exports to Russia amounted to US$975.883 million, an increase of 0.4 per cent. Imports from Russia grew 7 per cent to US$3.1764 billion over the same period. Russia was the leading destination for Azerbaijan's non-oil exports, receiving US$968.946 million in non-oil goods between January and October.
Key products exported to Russia included fruits and vegetables such as tomatoes, potatoes, apples, hazelnuts, cherries, strawberries, and persimmons. Other exported items included fruit juices.
Trade between the two countries accounted for 10.2 per cent of Azerbaijan's total trade turnover during the ten months. Azerbaijan's overall exports from January to October reached US$21.6368 billion. Non-oil exports for the same period totaled US$2.9878 billion.
