UK Wholesale banana prices - Week 43:

Banana market stable with only minor dip from Colombia

The latest banana market data show no major price changes across key origins this week. Average prices remained stable at £0.93 per kilogram, with most supplying countries maintaining last week's levels.

Colombia was the only exporter to register a movement, recording a slight decline of 1%, with the average price falling from £0.96 to £0.95 per kilogram. Prices for bananas from Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Nicaragua all held steady at £0.94, £0.92, and £0.90 per kilogram, respectively.

Belize maintained its overall average price at £0.99 per kilogram, showing no weekly variation.

Overall, the combined category averages for ACP, Dollar, and EU suppliers remained unchanged or undocumented, suggesting continued stability across the banana market.
