With the theme "Sustainability and Innovation: Responsible Tropical Fruit Growing," the fair aims to bolster tropical fruit production in Northeast Brazil. The presence of national and international entities, a comprehensive technical program with lectures, workshops, and business meetings, is expected to be highlighted. Attendees can explore technological trends and sustainability solutions aimed at production efficiency and market diversification.
The event influences the local economy by creating temporary employment and stimulating business for Mossoró's commerce and service sectors. According to the organizers, "This edition will see the return of the International Business Roundtable, which gives us the prospect of increased business volume during the event. We expect to generate R$90 million (US$16.6 million) in business," says João Manoel, commercial director of Expofruit.
