Trackster: A patent by Dari Ecomeccanica

Harvesters available for open fields as well

The world of horticulture is constantly evolving, and the technologies that support its daily activities evolve with it. Trackster, the new frontier in the harvesting of leafy greens and vegetables in the open fields, stands out in this lively landscape. This innovative system is a complete line of track-driven vegetable harvesters, specifically designed for the open fields and engineered to adapt to different cultivation needs.

The Trackster line of harvesters from Dari Ecomeccanica can operate on a wide range of open-field crops: baby leaves, lamb's lettuce, parsley, basil, coriander, beets, chicory, turnip greens, etc. The system combines operational efficiency, precision operations, and unparalleled respect for the soil.

"With Trackster, we want to provide growers with a concrete solution built around their actual needs. It is the result of our research and passion for agricultural innovation. "The beating heart of Trackster is the track drive system, which boasts independent control for each track, thereby guaranteeing stability and reliability on difficult soils characterised by high humidity, slopes, or poor compaction. Thanks to the minimised pressure on the ground, harvesting is consistent and safe, optimising field conditions."

Trackster vegetable harvesters incorporate advanced technologies such as a motorised roller cutting systems with active suspension. This enables delicate operations on the crops and protects the structure of the soil, which is essential to maintain the quality of the vegetables even in subsequent cuts. With a concept that prioritises quality and efficiency, each stage of harvesting is calibrated to enhance the product and optimise productivity.

The loading capacity of Trackster vegetable harvesters is another strong point: With oversized lift tails and a total capacity exceeding 7 tonnes, these machines can transport up to 16 pallets or 850 crates. This feature reduces harvesting time and minimises handling, making daily operations more agile and flexible.

Trackster is not just a machine, but a customisable system that can be adapted to the specific needs of each farm. Available options include side conveyors, cover roofs and field packaging systems.

In addition, Trackster can be equipped with an Industry 4.0 set-up. This enables remote monitoring, real-time diagnostics, and integration with company software for advanced management and traceability.
