Fresh French beans from Guatemala; a direct link from farm to table

North Bay Produce’s member farm in Guatemala has created a direct link from their farms to consumers' tables. This unique approach ensures food safety, social responsibility, and environmentally safe practices, all while utilizing high-tech packaging to ensure maximum freshness. By utilizing the latest technology, efficiencies have been created in quality and freshness of their French beans, which are grown on 650 hectares. Securing the source of their beans not only creates peace of mind for their customers but also ensures accurate production for the growing demand of the product. Additionally, this farm is committed to becoming carbon neutral within the next 20 months, further demonstrating their dedication to sustainable and eco-friendly practices.

“We believe in transparency and partnerships," said John Battle, vegetable category manager at North Bay. "By utilizing high-tech facilities, we're able to bring fresh French beans straight from the farm to our consumers' tables, all while ensuring quality, safety, and environmental responsibility. This commitment to responsible farming along with innovation in the agriculture, allows us to offer customers a unique and sustainable way to enjoy fresh produce.”

North Bay Produce is an international grower owned cooperative focusing on the future of berries, apples and select value added vegetables. “By utilizing cutting edge technology and extensive varietal trials in multiple regions around the world, our objective is to produce the best tasting, and longest lasting fruits and vegetables.”

The company will be in booth 933 at the SEPC show in Orlando and all are invited to visit with team members that will be on hand to discuss their products.
