With the arrival of Chilean cherries shipped by sea last week, cherries have become the fruit with the most attention in the market. Most of the cherries on sale are delivered by air, and most of them are Santina.
Talking to different merchants who deal in cherries, some said that the price of early cherries transported by sea is usually the same as or slightly higher than that of late cherries transported by air. But there is currently limited room for price increases for sea-freighted cherries.
On the whole, the current price of cherries is lower than in the same period last year. Therefore, the current sales of cherries are not ideal, not as good as in the same period last year. In addition, some merchants said that the price is not much different from last year, but the market is still waiting to see.
Chilean Cherries
Avocados are mainly imported from Chile, with a small number of Mexican avocados. Due to the recent arrival of more Chilean avocados, the price has been lowered again than before. The price of Mexican avocados is relatively lower. According to merchants, Mexican avocados have good taste and are sold at a good price in the local market. However, because they are easy to ripen and have a relatively short shelf life, local buyers are cautious in purchasing or are only purchasing in small quantities. Therefore, the price is relatively low. New domestic avocados are being picked and will continue to arrive later.

Peruvian grapes have been listed since early November. The current price has not changed much compared with the same period last year, but the shipment is not as good as expected for the time being. As for Peruvian blueberries, the price has risen a lot due to the sharp decrease in recent arrivals. In addition, there are some domestic blueberry brands that sell at a higher price because of their good taste and large granules. Belgian pears continue to be supplied, and merchants said their prices and shipments are relatively stable.

Strawberry
Most of the domestic fruits are citrus, such as all kinds of oranges, tangerines, Wo oranges, and so on. Some merchants said that the current sales of tangerines are relatively satisfactory. High-quality strawberries are also one of the most sold fruits. They are beautifully packaged, come in different origins and varieties, and have different prices. Some merchants said that strawberries from Dandong have a better taste and a higher price.
At present, the price of strawberries is generally high, which has a certain impact on the sale of strawberries. Among the domestic high-quality apples, the "World No. 1" apples are large and full, suitable for gift-giving needs. Merchants said that there are not many sales at present, and perhaps there will be a boost on Christmas Eve because there is a consumer market for "giving apples on Christmas Eve". Other common fruits on sale include Venus Golden Apple, Soft Seed Pomegranate, Sunshine Rose Green Grape, Domestic Red Grape, etc.
