According to data released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH), farmgate prices in Hungary rose 26.1% in October from the same month a year earlier.
Farmgate prices have risen in the double digits every month since the start of the year. Vegetable prices rose 10.2%, potato prices were up 34.1%, but fruit prices fell 13.8%.
