Taiwan's new import rules explained

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has collated Taiwan's new import regulations in a report. These new regulations provide rules for labeling, packaging, supplementing, pesticides, etc. The report also contains various links.

These refer to documents related to these new import guidelines. The USDA report also contains a list of regulations. This shows the maximum residue qualities allowed for fruit and vegetables.

As of 30 May 2019, there have been specific rules for organic fruit and vegetable products too. These stipulate that certain products could be labeled as organic. These products have to, however, be at least 95% organic.

The USDA report ends with a list of several addresses. These are related to import and market access in Taiwan.
