In the weekend of 8 and 9 September, the Food Market again opened its gates at the Hamburg Wholesale Market. The slogan "From the region, for the region" also applies to the colorful culinary market in the Hamburg wholesale market hall this year. This time, der Feinschmecker and the Grossmarkt Hamburg invited people to more than 80 stalls presenting fruit, vegetables and manufactured products from Hamburg and the whole of northern Germany. Eleven restaurants provided visitors with small dishes and the appropriate drinks.

Regional rarities
BEHR AG was there again this year, located at the stand of the Hamburger Bauerngarten (booth B58). Visitors had the opportunity to directly buy the entire product range of the Hamburger Bauerngarten and to inform themselves about all aspects of cultivation.
The production plants of BEHR AG are members of the Hamburger Bauerngarten. There are varieties on offer that can really be described as rarities. The range includes vegetables, fruits, herbs and edible flowers. In addition, there were two partners at the stand: a potato producer and a coffee roaster.

"We want to give the end consumers the opportunity to experience the gardener's product range of the Hamburg farmer's garden, focusing on forgotten varieties like colorful beets," said Birger Exner, marketing director of BEHR AG.
