Chinese cabbage prices are rising almost daily in Poland, as reported by Fruit-Inform.
Since the start of the current week alone, this product has become 15-20% more expensive on the Polish market, and farms are already able to sell the product for 1.3-1.8 złoty per kilo (0.31-0.43 Euro/kg). Polish producers have been able to raise prices thanks to a seasonal reduction in the market supply while the demand remains high.
Nevertheless, it is worth noting that, despite this price increase, Chinese cabbage is still, on average, about 28% cheaper than in the first half of April 2017.
