Peru exported a total of 7,626,328 kilos of fresh garlic for an FOB value of US$11,164,228 between January and September of this year.
According to the Agrodata Peru website, the main destinations for this national product were the United States (43% of total shipments), Ecuador (30%), Mexico (10%), Brazil (9%), Spain (4%), and Colombia and Switzerland (1% each).
The main exporting company was Olam Agro Perú SAC, as it accounted for 36% of the total number of dispatches. It was followed by Coproimpex SAC (18%), Comercial Liborio EIRL (12%), Exportadora Sol de Olmos SAC (5%), Agroindustria R & B Group SAC (5%), and S & M Foods SRL (2%), among others.
