"On average, we can produce between 1,000 and 1,500 tonnes per year," explains Vasco Silva, of Masilfrutas. "This volume has been obtained year after year, except for last season, when the weather conditions caused the production to fall by 50%. However, it should be recalled that the Portuguese Royal Gala production is small compared to that of other European countries."

Most of these apples are exported to other areas of the world, although the volume depends on the producer. In the case of Masilfrutas, the export volume reaches 80%, with the fruit shipped to countries in Europe, Africa and South America.
Masilfrutas has the GlobalG.A.P certification and has implemented integrated production processes with the aim of being able to supply trustworthy products to its customers.
