Due to the success of the previous editions of the International Blueberry Seminar, which have been held in Mexico, Peru and Chile, the organizers have decided to hold it in Mexico for a second year, on June 8 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Guadalajara.
The Seminar is being organized by Blueberries Consulting and AGQ Labs in Mexico. The new reality of the US blueberry market and the options to find new destination markets will be analyzed at the event, as well as the use of new post harvest technologies.
The Seminar will also delve in new technical developments in the cultivation of the blueberry in Mexico and around the world, as well as substrates and hydroponics production challenges. The participants will discuss the varieties which are of technical and commercial interest to Mexico, as well as information about fertigation, nutrition, cultivation, pests and diseases in blueberry orchards, pruning, and conventional or organic crops, among many other issues.
The seminar is aimed at all companies, farmers, professionals, exporters, managers and participants in Mexico's blueberry sector, as well as international industry players, assembled in Guadalajara, in this second edition of the International Blueberry Seminar in Mexico, which is expected to have a higher attendance than in the 2016 Edition.
