Spanish dried fruit and nut sales see 7th year of growth
The dried fruit and nut segment had the most positive performance, achieving a market value of €860 million in 2016, after increasing 5.5% compared to the previous year.
The sales increase was due to favourable economic circumstances and investment in innovation, the company said.
The dried fruit and nut segment has been very dynamic in foreign markets in recent years. In 2015 exports grew 40%, while imports increased by 30%.
