Officials to meet about Russian Bosnia Herzogovina ban

Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations for Bosnia and Herzogovina, Mirko Sarovic, confirmed last Friday (12 September) the arrival of the Russian phytosanitary inspection planned for August 18, in accordance with an agreement with the Director of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance of the Russian Federation (Rosselʹhoznadzor) Sergei Alekseyevich Dankvertom.

In the meantime, a high level meeting is planned for tomorrow (16 August) in Moscow, between the Directorate for Plant Health of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance of the Russian Federation (Rosselʹhoznadzor) to discuss the situation.

“We have a very short time to prepare the relevant institutions and major exporters from BiH for the arrival of the inspection, but I'm confident that this fast-tracked mission will be successful." said Minister Sarovic.
