Lidl Switzerland opens one hundredth store

Lidl Switzerland opened its one hundredth Swiss store in Wangs, reports the website Schweizmagazin.ch. This is the tenth store in canton St. Gallen.

The new store opened its doors for the first time on Thursday January 29 2015. The discounter offers the customers over 1,800 day to day products on a sales surface of almost 1,100 square metres. Its assortment includes a wide variety of fresh products such as fruits and vegetables, meat and an integrated bakery.

The new store has the newest equipment. All of the store's lighting comes from energy saving LED lights. This light concept is the new standard for future store openings all over Switzerland.
