According to the Statistical Office of the German State of North-Rhine Westphalia, overall Greek exports increased slightly by 0.2% in the period between January and August 2014 compared to the same period in 2013, although the total volume of Greek exports to Germany decreased by 4.8%.
Specifically, Greek exports to North-Rhine Westphalia (NRW) amounted to € 227.28 million during this period, including a marked increase in Greek fresh vegetable exports (+102.6%), while Greek imports from NRW increased by 12.7% and amounted to 452.95 million Euro.
