Bananas grown in Russia win award
Beysky and Altai regions are awarded in the nomination “Diverse conserved vegetable and fruit production”, they presented 80 kinds of conserved agricultural products.
However, the Tashtyp region has surprised most of all. The farmers of this region have recently started to cultivate bananas! It is to be noted that earlier this region used to successfully grow oranges and grapes. The region has won the award in the category “Exotic fruit”.
