Angvik Auto Holland's new property offers greater cross-dock facilities
"75% of all our transport to Norway is in the fruit and vegetables sector. The rest is flowers, plants and mainly fish, deep freeze products and fresh cheese. The return loads mainly contain fresh fish, and are destined for all of Europe, with most heading towards the United Kingdom and Benelux," says the logistic service. In the beginning of June Angvik Auto Holland moved to a new property (Transport way 23C) that has greater cross-dock facilities and cooling cells to store the goods.
Transporting fruits and vegetables to Norway has been stable for years. The upcoming period will be busy for us again since the Norwegians have to import everything from Europe during the winter period. Partly due to the fact that we will be getting busier we are looking for new charters that can transport our goods to Norway during this busy winter period. We take care of the return loads. Right now we have a fixed group of 25 charters/self drivers, and every week 30 to 40 loads are sent up to Norway from Angvik Auto from Benelux.
