"Happy to be here and happy to be back," said Drew Royale, an Epping employee. Casey Lemieux says, "Working on Labor Day is actually just knowing I have my job back."

Artie T. Demoulas could barely get inside the doors to a store in Chelsea, Massachusetts during his surprise visit Monday. Employees along with customers, cheered and chanted through the aisles.

"All I can say is God bless you!" Artie T. Demoulas told the crowd. "We fully intend to keep the prices as competitive as can be and we stand behind the more for your dollar slogan that we live by for the past many, many decades."

Although the summer dispute will slow growth, he promises to add two new supermarkets to the 71 store chain by the end of the year. The first one will be in Revere, Massachusetts.

Stores are expected to be 95 percent stocked by Wednesday or Thursday.

"We're trying to get trucks in as fast as possible, once it comes in its right out on the shelves," says Artie T. Demoulas.
