Walmart Neighborhood Market coming to Village Shoppes of San Pablo

A Walmart Neighborhood Market is coming soon to the Village Shoppes of San Pablo at Atlantic Boulevard and San Pablo Road.

A leasing brochure from Colliers International for the shopping center says a Walmart Neighborhood Market will anchor the center in a space vacated by Food Lion.

The 84,000-square-foot shopping center is at 1650 San Pablo Road S., at southwest Atlantic and San Pablo. The market will occupy a 49,386-square-foot building at the center.

The Walmart Neighborhood Market will be the area’s sixth. The others are also in former Food Lion stores at Wilson Square in Westside; Merrill Station in Arlington; the Crossroads at Mandarin in Mandarin; Julington Square along Florida 13 in St. Johns County; and along County Road 220 in Middleburg in Clay County.

Neighborhood Markets are Walmart grocery stores. At an average 38,000 square feet in size, they offer groceries, pharmacy services and household goods, but are much smaller than the average 182,000-square-foot Walmart Supercenters.
