On 24 June, the Plenipotentiary of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Osh region, Sooronbai Jeenbekov, met with the head of the Phytosanitary Service of the People's Republic of China, Yang Sayzhunom, according to the press service of the government representative.
A Chinese delegation arrived in China to implement the clauses of the contract signed between the Osh region and Xinjiang for the export of fruit to China.
"The purpose of our trip was to conduct the study of the orchards and fields of the Osh region that will supply fruit to China; we became thoroughly acquainted with the cultivation conditions of the region's agricultural products, such as cherries, melons and pomegranates. We are interested in organic fruits from the Osh region," said the head of China's Phytosanitary Service.
