Carrefour has announced that they have signed an agreement on the acquisition of Dia's French subsidiary. The promise is based on an enterprise value of €600 million.
With over 800 shops and almost 550,000 m2, Dia France recorded a €2.3 billion turnover in 2013.
The retail giant claims that ''this operation will contribute to the growth of Carrefour's multiformat network on it's domestic market. It will allow us to respond better to client demand by offering services that are adapted to the evolving modes of consumerism''.
