According to Samuel there has been steady growth in the business. "This and our quality labels are a guarantee of top product. 90% of our products are exported worldwide." Samuel indicates that Europe remains the most important market. "However, countries in Southern and North America are coming up. In America and Africa there is increasing consumption of deep frozen vegetables and fruit. I expect that in the coming years, especially in countries with economic growth, the demand for frozen products will undoubtedly increase."
"An important trend in the sector is an increase in quality requirements which is certainly a positive development. Through our modern and automated machines we are able to ensure the quality," continues Blommaert. "Additionally the permanent quality control is very important in our production.
