The logistic service supplier Andiprim took over the company Adritrans on the 1st of July. Andiprim transports fruit and vegetables under a controlled temperature. "We have become twice as big after taking over Adritrans," says company leader Dirk Smets. "Everything has been multiplied by two, really. We now have 16 combinations and 20 trailers. This means we offer service to an even larger part of the Belgian fruit and vegetable sector."
Andiprim is in group A. de Witte. Most of the transport takes place in Belgium. Andiprim has been located in the Mechelse Veilingen in Sint-Katelijne-Waver since 2011. "We took over almost everything from Adritrans: the trucks, the employees and the customers. Not much has changed in the way we offer service. There's just more work for us. Adritrans served the same customers we did, mainly transport between various auctions. The take over went smoothly and the companies fit together well."
New: Volvo FH16
Besides the take over, Andiprim also invested in the new Volvo FH16. "This makes us the first people in the Benelux to have this new Volvo model. The Volvo FH16 is designed for international road transport and transporting heavy goods over long distances. It is a fantastic investment and a good addition to our company."
