India: Punjab waives market fee on fruit, vegetables exports

In a bid to boost the agriculture diversification programme, the Punjab government has decided to exempt the market fee on the fruits and vegetables exported to countries across the globe.

Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the chief minister office said a decision to this effect was taken by the Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal in response to the proposal mooted by the Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal for giving major fillip to the exports of fruits and vegetables from the State.
