Peru to seal US$45 million business deals at Berlin's Fruit Logistica Fair
"Peru, as the guest of honour, will participate in all the fair's main events. So, we are sure it will be a success and the amount of US$ 45 million collected in last year's edition will be far exceeded," Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism, Jose Luis Silva told TV Peru.
He said that Fruit Logistica 2013 is one of Europe's most important events for the agricultural sector and added the Peruvian delegation will compose of 200 persons which make it the largest delegation ever send to a trade fair abroad.
Silva said that Peru will present new high quality products to be introduced in the largest European markets, thus the Peruvian government is helping to the growth of agricultural exports, in particular nontraditional.
The fair gathers over 2,500 exhibitors from around the world and expected more than 56,000 people from 140 countries will converge at the fair.
This specialist Trade Fair offers the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable business an ideal opportunity to present their Products across the entire Supply Chain, from Growing to the Point-Of-Sale.
