China: Family mart operations resume after store closures

Anti-Japanese sentiment in China will not affect the business of FamilyMart, whose Chinese operations are actually run by the Taiwanese, said Pan Chin-ting, chairman of the convenience store chain.

Most of the stores based in China have now resumed normal operations.

Pan said that most of the store's stock came from China and that there was not a lot of produce imported from Japan.
