AU: Changes at the top for One Harvest

Brisbane (Australia) based OneHarvest has had a change in leadership, with CEO Robin Poynton retiring from his full-time role but staying with the business as a non-executive Director, as well as a coach and mentor. To replace Robin, the company has moved to an innovative custodial leadership model, with three joint CEOs, all of whom have been appointed via internal promotion.

These three CEOs are Sam Robson (CEO Harvest FreshCuts, the company’s salad processing business); Ray Hook (CEO Harvest FreshFruits, the company’s whole fruit business) and Rebecca Taylor (CEO Shared Services). Together these three executives have nearly 30 years’ experience with OneHarvest. They each have functional responsibility for their particular part of the business but have joint responsibility for the entire business and will continue to work collaboratively.

OneHarvest operates fresh-cut salad processing plants in Brisbane, Bairnsdale and Perth. It also operates a whole fruit sales and marketing operation, specialising in avocados, seedless watermelon and Calypso mangoes, a whole fruit ripening business and Calypso mango farming operations in the Northern Territory and Far North Queensland.
