New NAPAR website focuses on food safety
The website focuses on helping wholesalers-receivers deal with food safety issues, especially complying with the rules implementing the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA). It lists all the major FSMA rules affecting receivers in one place and provides guidance and other material developed by FDA.
The new website also provides information on NAPAR, including the history of its accomplishments for its members. Included in this section are several case histories where NAPAR represented its wholesaler members before the executive and legislative branches of government.
The website has a listing of upcoming NAPAR board meetings and conferences and provides information on NAPAR’s Annual Pete Class Memorial Golf Tournament, along with an opportunity to sponsor or participate in it. You can visit the new site at www.napar.org.
