Expansion of over 100 direct-supply bases

Fresh Hema: Sales of organic vegetables increased 107 times

Fresh Hema has released its "Consumption Report", stating that since 2018, Hema has opened up more than 100 organic vegetable direct-supply bases across the country, and opened the "3 RMB era" of organic vegetable through order farming.

The report shows that organic vegetables can include condiments such as onions, ginger and garlic. In October and November this year, the organic vegetable consumption side achieved an average monthly sales growth of 44%. Hou Yi, President at Fresh Hema said that the essence of new retail is products and services from the consumer side, and cost and efficiency from the enterprise side.

The core aim of Hema is the creation of commodity power. "This year, Hema's direct-sourcing bases, its own brand system, 3R's explosive product development and national layout, as well as the construction of a logistics supply chain system, are all advancing rapidly."

Data shows that in 2021, Hema will build its own supply chain centers in North, East, Central, Northwest, Southwest, and South China. In addition to basic functions such as warehousing, packaging, and distribution, it also adds more features such as temporary storage, fresh processing, and central kitchens. Currently, Hema has nearly 300 stores nationwide.
