Weekly tonnage of South African oranges exported to Europe at around 5,000 tonnes for weeks 41 and 42

The weekly tonnages of South African oranges exported to Europe in weeks 41 and 41 of 2020 are way beyond those of last year, hovering around 5,000 tonnes for both time periods.

Shipments to Southern Europe are more or less the same as i 2019.


The tonnages for export to China hover around 1,000 tonnes for both weeks, another increase y-o-y, but less spectacular.

Exports from South Africa to the US are complemented by shipments from Chile.
