The Italian Embassy in Bangkok announced the arrival of the first container of Italian apples after the signing of the commercialization agreement in April. Ambassador Lorenzo Galanti attended the opening of the container.

"The great team work carried out by the Embassy, Ice, the Ministry, Cso and Assomela enabled the achievement of this objective in just a few months. We started a year ago, when a Thai delegation was sent to Italy to check the productions and the facilities," commented Giulia Montanaro.

The first container of Marlene-branded apples arrived on October 6th 2020 after approximately one month. "Everything went well also from a logistic point of view, as the temperatures inside containers remained stable during the entire transit period."
