Egypt's strawberry exports reached USD 74.4 million in Q1 2025, up USD 9 million from the previous year's USD 65.3 million, as per the Central Agency for Public Mobilisation and Statistics.
Strawberries ranked high among Egypt's agricultural exports, with the overall Q1 export value at USD 1.27 billion, slightly lower than USD 1.3 billion in 2024. Plans to export strawberry seedlings to Brazil and a new record of 1,500 tons in Malaysia were noted. National export figures for March showed a rise to USD 4.6 billion from USD 3.8 billion in March 2024, marking an increase of nearly USD 793 million year-on-year.
