Cherry tomatoes makes it into Top 10 best-selling brands in France

Azura Group's cherry tomatoes were the 10th best-selling brand in France in 2023 and the best-selling brand in the fruit and vegetables category (based on Kantar Worldpanel 2023).

Throughout the year, 116 million Azura products were bought by nearly 16.9 million French families with three-quarters of these (75%) making repeat purchases. "This loyalty demonstrates customers' preference for Azura products. It also reflects the reliability and dependability of Azura's supply chains. Thanks to the total control of the value chain from field to plate, the Azura Group has become one of the world leaders in the production of cherry tomatoes," a statement by the Group reads.

Azura's 18,000 team focus every day on providing customers with quality, tasty and environmentally friendly products. Further, Azura Group is fully committed to the continuous reduction of its environmental footprint and has implemented a CSR strategy covering the entire production chain, from field to plate. This includes agronomic research to limit the use of pesticides wherever possible, production in energy-saving unheated greenhouses, optimization of water use, reduction in the consumption of plastic packaging and waste recycling. "Our cherry tomatoes are now the most popular fruit and vegetable option for French consumers."

The Azura Group has also invested in supporting communities in southern Morocco, through the Azura Foundation. Founded in 2014, the Foundation has carried out educational support projects (creation of schools, nurseries, educational centers for children with disabilities) as well as projects linked to the careful management of natural resources in Morocco for the benefit of 30,000 beneficiaries.

Growing what is good for the planet, for consumers, for society and for employees is the purpose that has built the group for more than 30 years and which shapes its ambition for future generations.
