The Kensington Pride and R2E2 mango harvests are in full swing across Northern Queensland. Manbulloo is currently harvesting across all five farms within the Atherton Tableland and Townsville regions.
Both varieties are currently in plentiful supply with the industry predicting solid volumes right through until to Christmas, with volumes easing off towards the end of January.

From an export perspective, Manbulloo is currently focussed on exporting to Korea, China, USA and New Zealand.
"There's strong demand for Australian mangoes, as long as the fruit meets the spec, however international freight is proving to be a challenge," explained Marie Piccone from Manbulloo.
‘Overall this season's fruit is looking beautifully blushed, nice and mature and is offering a great eating experience which is great news for consumers across Asia.’ she said.

Domestic market
'With such a heightened awareness of Kensington Pride on the domestic front at the moment, we want to put our best foot forward and make sure the fruit's mature when picked to offer the best eating experience that lives up to the Kensington Pride flavour promise.'
From a consumer perspective, this is the perfect time to take the opportunity to incorporate Kensington Pride mangoes into snacks, smoothies, salads, salsas and BBQs.
At the retail level, Kensington Pride growers are delighted with the support given by the retailers - Coles, Woolworths, Aldi, Harris Farm Markets, IGA and the independent greengrocers, who have shown strong support for Kensington Pride growers this year.
